Liberty Steel Products, Inc. (LSP) was founded by the Weller family in 1965. Since then, LSP has grown from a single 4,000 square foot facility into a multi-location operation housing 11 processing lines with over 500,000 square feet under roof dedicated to the processing and distribution of carbon flat-rolled steel products including hot-rolled, cold-rolled, coated, and prepainted steels. LSP’s broad capabilities and commitment to service has consistently ranked us as one of the top Metal Service Centers in the nation. Headquartered in North Jackson, OH, LSP consists of Liberty Steel Products and Liberty Steel Building Products.

Founded by the Weller family in a modest 4,000 square foot facility in Sharpsville, PA.
Hubbard
Relocated operations and offices to a newly built 8,000 square foot facility in Hubbard, OH.
Room for Growth
Expanded Hubbard, OH operations to 65,000 square feet to accommodate the growth of the business.
North Jackson, OH
Purchased Great Western Steel in North Jackson, OH and moved corporate headquarters to North Jackson, OH.
Building Products
Founded Liberty Steel Building Products to diversify into prepainted steels.
North Jackson, OH Expansion
Expanded North Jackson, OH facility and installed a new state-of-the art Hot Rolled leveling line to broaden product capabilities.
Next Generation
Mark Weller named as President and CEO of Liberty Steel Products, continuing the legacy of the family owned and operated business.
